Hi…. I’m Lisa Jennett Wood,
Welcome to my site. I approach design with a very detailed eye. I view each home as a place to reflect the family within. Beautiful surroundings that function well offer those who come inside something special.
In today’s world, people are surrounded by images and tid bits. While a client might find something they like visually, they might not have the confidence to pull it off. That’s where a professional comes in. I help each client identify what’s important to them and how they can achieve their desired look and style.
I take time to really understand my customers. I work to streamline the design process using systems of gathering and sharing information. A positive attitude is key to all projects, because sometimes there can be a few surprises. I believe that there is always a solution to a challenge. Try me!
Color, pattern, material, custom designs and of course…a client’s personal style…create unique spaces that reflect each home owner. No two interiors are ever the same.
My design background started with 3-story Victorian doll house (which I still have and is under renovation.) A major influence on my future came through my grandmother who became an Interior Designer in her 40s. Watching her help people was a heart thing for her. She transformed not only their homes but also their lives with her talents and her heart. I had hoped to study under her but she passed away before I had the chance to do so. My college endeavors started out with a ‘generic’ business path, which didn’t excite me. After a chance to regroup and listen to my calling, I chose to pursue my love of interior design at UNT in Denton, TX. I graduated with a B.A.S. degree, and a double minor in business and architecture.
While my passion and talents can be seen throughout homes, businesses, as well as in product and furniture design…my clients will tell you that I see in, through, and around spaces. And I help them uncover opportunities that would normally go unnoticed.
I am a mom to 3 amazing teens, married to my love, and am a fur-mom to Maya, our Great Pyrenees princess. I live and work in Asheville, NC and surrounding areas, and also offer online design services.
